Gene
Sloan, Founder
Gene Sloan founded Creative Mind Media, with his wife Arlene,
in 2005 as a distribution company for high quality, uplifting,
transformative entertainment that incorporates universal spiritual
truths found in many religions and wisdom traditions. During
the production of Living
Luminaries on The Serious Business of Happiness,
Gene recognized that there were no distribution companies
that were solely dedicated to bring this new genre of films
to the market. This was the impetus for creating Creative
Mind Media; to distribute all films produced by Grace
Point Films and eventually by other like-minded
film producers creating high quality content laden films.
In his 30 years as an investor in real estate and technology,
Gene has understood markets before their time. He has a great
ability to foresee new markets and the business sense to know
how to engage them. With his unusual background as both a
self-made entrepreneur/businessman and his intensive interest
and lifelong dedication to a broad array of spiritual and
philosophical studies, he provides an extraordinary combination
of leadership that is progressive, enlightened, and responsive
to the marketplace. Gene’s leadership style is innovative,
collaborative and empowering to dedicated team members, which
inspires them to strive for excellence. He clearly articulates
the vision and he enrolls, inspires, and leverages talent
by the vision, rather than by the task. Gene has also pursued
a life long interest and in depth study of a wide range of
spiritual, religious, philosophical and consciousness mindsets
over the past 35 years. He brings a consciousness of unity
and recognizes the underlying thread of truth that is woven
throughout all religions and spirituality. Gene is committed
to assisting humanity to transform its consciousness by distributing
entertainment with high spiritual and psychological values
that is content-laden with uplifting, intelligent, insightful

Arlene
Sloan, Co-Founder
Arlene Sloan co-founded Creative Mind Media
with her husband Gene, in 2005. With her background as a licensed
architect for 25 years, and her lifelong appreciation for
the gifts of spiritual wisdom, she assists in guiding the
direction of Creative Mind Media on both the global level
and detail level. Her innovative style of business adds creativity
and warmth to the team. Arlene brings her dedication to spiritual
truth, the awareness of the power of entertainment to uplift,
and her consciousness of unity among many to the team. She
also brings business acumen, extensive training in communication
and conflict resolution and years of experience working collaboratively
in a creative field. |

Diane
Tapogna, Project Manager
Diane Tapogna joined Creative Mind Media
in 2007. She brings a unique combination of organizational
skills, business acumen and creative vision to the team. In
her over 20 years as a Registered Nurse, she has worked in
a wide variety of settings, most recently as a Hospice Case
Manager. In this role she has come to live in absolute awe
of the uniqueness and preciousness of the human experience.
Diane has been a Spiritual seeker all of her life. Through
her many explorations of the teachings of ancient wisdom and
contemporary philosophy she has developed a special love of
story as a learning tool. She has always had great fondness
for cinema. So this combination of passion, skill and life
experience makes her the perfect addition to Creative Mind
Media. |
